Saturday 4 at Sa Sa Art Projects , an artist talk by Battanbang artist, architect and photographer Mao Sovanchandy.  “She finds inspiration from the surrounding environment of the fast-growing context of Phnom Penh, which is full of historical and cultural values. She has an enthusiasm for photography and old heritage buildings. She often experiments with different conceptual photography that tells a story and evokes further discussion. She believes in the arts that express imagination to create reflections and trigger thoughts and build potential reimagination from a different perspective.”  In English with Khmer interpretation.  From 6 pm.

Opening this Sunday 5 in AiR Gallery at Factory Phnom Penh, hosted by FT Gallery, is  LIFE WILL WIN, a fundraising exhibition for helping five organizations and volunteer groups currently in Ukraine supporting the humanitarian effort, with almost 40 different artists and more than 100 artworks. Many are artists who are currently volunteering in war affected areas, and 100% of the funds will be used to provide food, medical supplies and meet other urgent needs in the region.
