Tonight, Tuesday 21, 6 pm, Sa Sa Art Projects hosts the opening of a work in progress, Elements (This is not mine), by artist in residence Tobin Rothlein. “Casual conversation and a first look at Rothlein’s new work, a contemporary visual exploration of the great elements (mahabhuta) through video and performance. Featuring work with drag performers Miga and Miz Rebecca.”
Starting today, a series of events as part of the Cambodia Urban Art Festival. Tonight it’s live painting at Sra’Art, tomorrow an open air screening of Don’t Think I’ve Forgotten at Futures Factory, Thursday at Meta House a series of artist talks on art and urbanism, Friday evening a party at Futures Factory with live painting including, performance by dance troupe New Cambodian Artists and more. Additionally, Exchange Square will host lunchtime performances Wednesday to Friday by Phare Performing Arts Circus. The closing night party on Sunday 26 is at Enfants d’Asie Cambodge on St 105 runs from 4 pm to 9 pm.

The Traditional Dance Show, presented by Cambodian Living Arts, takes place at the National Museum stage. The Kok Thlok arts organisation is presenting twice weekly shadow puppet and Khmer theatre performances at the National Library, St 61, every Friday and Sunday at 6.30 pm. Kok Thlok are offering a membership card, with an annual fee of $30, that provides unlimited access (including for family members or two friends) to the rolling programme planned over the next four years to present the 24 forms of traditional theatre.
