She enjoys challenging herself artistically in order to find new ways to escape and express her reality. When she can’t use words, she paints.”

Stories of Reality, a photographic exhibition by Caroline Chevalier and le Studio Images, at the French Institute. “Caroline Chevalier transforms reality into movie sets telling enigmatic stories. A theater in which reality takes on many forms, this exhibition, created in collaboration with the students of Le Studio Images, will take the wanderer into a world of dreams and mystery. The exhibit will also showcase a sound creation by David Laurent, founder of Ateliers de L’Image et du Son in Marseilles, France.”

At Java Creative Cafe, Independence Monument, the opening of 81472: Sacred ink lotus art by Battambang-based artist and Australian-native Morrison Polkinghhorne. “Morrison’s unique ink made from lotus is in many ways as remarkable, and unexpected, as the final art. Morrison creates this from charred lotus petals distilled with Battambang rainwater.” Until January 6.

The Traditional Dance Show, presented by Cambodian Living Arts, takes place at the National Museum stage. The hour-long performance showcases classical and folk dances from across Cambodia, including the famous Apsara.
