Followed at 8 pm by Frida Still Life, a 1983 documentary about Kahlo’s life and work.

Also tonight, from 6.30 pm, Bophana Center presents Between Tradition and Modernity, an exhibition by photographer Mélina MacDonald, a French student with Khmer family connections. “The country is going through a transitory period, caught between tradition and modernity. One just needs to take a walk through the capital city to see this illustrated. My project is to show these two worlds living side by side.” Runs until 1 August.

Wednesday 6 at 6 pm, The Lotus Pond Gallery at The Plantation presents T’banh (Woven), a collection of works produced by members of The Plantation staff in a series of art classes and workshops facilitated by Janneke Hoogstraaten, Chelsea Middendorf & Corinne Tan.
