Tonight, Tuesday 21, Vetika Brovoat Selapak: Art History Forum at Java Café Independence by Dr Pamela Nguyen Corey, Image and Text in Vietnamese Art After Doi Moi. “This talk will consider the interplay between text and image: a relationship that has long preoccupied art historians.” In English with Khmer interpretation, 6 pm to 7.30 pm.

On Saturday 25 at 6 pm, Meta House hosts the launch of the Nou Hach Literary Journal, Vol. 8 and Modern Literature of Cambodia: Transnational Voices of Transformation, featuring a musical performance of poetry from Vol. 8 and a talk by Lao editor and writer Bounthanh Phongphichid, winner of the 7th Mekong Literature Award.
