Tonight, Tuesday 17 at Meta House, presents the opening of an exhibition, Eternity, by Cambodia’s Crazy Community Group, dedicated to the weird and wonderful world of pre-wedding photographs. Participants include RooSter_KooL Photography, Pleang Photography, MoL Photography, Idealaor Photography and XXL Photography. From 6 pm.

And then across town at Institute Francais, the opening of an exhibition by artist and graphic novelist Virginie Broquet featuring works created in collaboration with students from the Phnom Penh University of Fine Arts. From 6.30 pm.

From Thursday 19 to Sunday 22, Meta House is hosting a festival of the best films from the CHOPSHOTS 2014, the annual South East Asia documentary competition, including sessions with visiting filmmakers from Myanmar, Thailand and Indonesia. Included in the screenings will be Neang Kavich’s film Where I go, awarded Best SEA Short. Multiple sessions, multiple times, free entry.

Just opened in Kampot is lightbox: a gallery and collaborative art space that aims to host and promote exhibitions, performances, screenings and events in traditional and modern arts, including dance, music and other performance, that “help celebrate, regenerate and build an appreciation for art in Cambodia.”

The current exhibition, Move Kampuchea, features photographic portraits, with local students of Mayibuye Cambodia acting as photographers and subjects, in a large-scale, black & white format is produced collaboration with international street art initiative, the Inside Out Project.
