Closing on Thursday 25 at Sra’Art is the latest exhibition by Photo Phnom Penh.  From 6 pm.  

On Friday 26, 5 pm at Villa Gallery (inside Maloop Garden in Boeng Tompun) an event for the closing of group exhibition Our Journey featuring works by Fat Jase, Lee Somoun, Ly Sokvichea, Morn Chear, Sam Daro, Sao Sreymao, Si Meter, Tan Sewkhy and Virekbot Reth Norodom.

Opening on Friday 26, 6 pm at Sa Sa Art Projects is The disoriented garden… A breath of dream, an exhibition by Vietnamese artist Troung Cong Tung.  An artist’s talk is scheduled for Saturday at 4 pm.  In Vietnamese with Khmer translation.

Next month Comedy in Cambodia presents a Cambodian tour for world traveller Fedor Ikelaar with shows at The Cruise Coffee in Kampot on the 10th, Ambar in Siem Reap on the 14th and  Speak Easy Theater in Phnom Penh on the 17th

Phnom Penh Photography Collective is asking for submissions for an upcoming exhibition at Hiroshima House Cambodia to celebrate its first anniversary.  The theme is Samaki in Cambodia.  Apply by 2 February – selections will be announced on 5 February.

Footprints, an exhibition of photographs by Roberto Crucitti with an accompanying story created by Kimly Vat.  “Roberto has had many international exhibitions and has lived in several countries including Cambodia, Singapore and China. To add a Khmer perspective, we invite Kimly to come and create a uniquely personal story with his images. I believe this story although authentically Khmer, it relates to most people in one way or another. Her words take us through the footprints of her life.”

Khmer Architecture Tours conducts Sunday architecture tours in Phnom Penh to promote the understanding of modern architecture in Cambodia, focusing on buildings erected after independence in 1953, described as ‘New Khmer Architecture’, while setting these in the historical context of Phnom Penh.  Here is the schedule for December – February

First Sunday of the month at 6 pm at Noisy Chilli Taphouse, Comedy in Cambodia presents Sunday Comedown open mic. 


Kumnooh was established in May 2013 as a sister publication to LengPleng.com, the online music magazine for Cambodia, to provide basically a gig guide for the wider arts, covering art galleries, literature, dance, cinema, photography and now comedy.
